Μερικές φορές αντιπαθητικοί άνθρωποι κάνουν συμπαθητικά πράγματα. Μερικές φορές συμπαθητικοί άνθρωποι κάνουν αντιπαθητικά δώρα. Τουλάχιστον έτσι φαίνονται στην αρχή... Αντιθέσεις για καλό. Μαθήματα στύλ και ιταλικής φινέτσας σε αυτόν τον δίσκο -φόρο τιμής στα ιταλικά τραγούδια του '60. Καταπληκτική δουλειά για την ποιότητα ηχογράφησης αυτού του δίσκου. Ήταν το πρώτο που μου έκανε εντύπωση...

A classic of dub-techno, and of techno at large, Biokinetics was the first CD released on Chain Reaction. Porter Ricks was the German duo of Thomas Köner and Andy Mellwig. They worked in the dub-techno space opened up by Basic Channel, but brought their own expertise in sound art and engineering to the table, not to mention a then unique preoccupation with all things aquatic – in an atypical gesture of light-heartedness, even their name is based on a character from Flipper.
“The nautical view evokes a clear vision, something freeing,” they once declared, more seriously. “The club as a diving platform, and techno as a nautical sound experience, a project that lies between clubs and art.”

Damon Albarn - Music from Dr. Dee
Dr Dee was a confidante of Elizabeth I, a mathematician, navigational pioneer, alchemist and supposed magician. He was the warden of Chetham's Library (Manchester) – the oldest public library in the English-speaking world, and a place once frequented by Karl Marx for 10 years at the end of the 1500s. By this time, having blazed an intellectual trail across Britain and Europe, Dee was at the end of his life, with plenty of controversy and emotional wreckage behind him. One biography sums up his presence in Manchester as a matter of "virtual exile, placing him far outside the orbit of the Queen and her court".

"1 Giant Leap is a concept band and media project consisting of the two principal artists, Jamie Catto (Faithless founding member) and Duncan Bridgeman.Based in the UK, the two musicians set out to create a multimedia project that would encompass a CD, DVD and cinematic presentation that would offer a complete artistic statement. Sister Rosetta Tharpe (March 20, 1915-October 9, 1973) was an American pioneering gospel singer, songwriter and recording artist who attained great popularity in the 1930s and 1940s with a unique mixture of spiritual lyrics and early rock and roll accompaniment. She became the first great recording star of gospel music in the late 1930s and also became known as the "original soul sister" of recorded music.
Willing to cross the line between sacred and secular by performing her inspirational music of 'light' in the 'darkness' of the nightclubs and concert halls with big bands behind her, her witty, idiosyncratic style also left a lasting mark on more conventional gospel artists, such as Ira Tucker, Sr., of the Dixie Hummingbirds. While she offended some conservative churchgoers with her forays into the world of pop music, she never left gospel music.

Saltillo is Menton J. Matthews III (born January 3, 1976), also a member of Sunday Munich. The album Ganglion (2006) was his debut under the name of Saltillo. Matthews is a multi-instrumentalist, playing cello, viola, violin, guitar, drums, piano, and bass, as well as a slew of electronics. He has spent the last few years refining his song-writing abilities by scoring film soundtracks and doing production work at the mixing desk.
